The new sub-brand of the Chinese mobile phone giant Xiaomi Poco has launched their first cellphone. They named it as Xiaomi Poco F1. That's a strange name but because you know all the specifications of this smartphone and they're just crazy for the price. Poco F1 or PocoPhone F1 has redefined the mid-range smartphone competition. Just now the Honor with the Kirin 970 mainstay processor was launched. Now Xiaomi Launches Poco with a Snapdragon 845 processor at a price of 20K (300 $). I have used this device for almost a week now even though I don't take many pictures, I will upload all camera images to Google Drive for your convenience. Design and Display:
The Poco F1 has a plastic polycarbonate rear panel and has a truly conventional design. There is nothing new and is built pure polycarbonate. There is no metal or glass available. A higher version is the kevlar version again. But I advise you to buy a 64GB version of 64GB only as a value every penny. I have a 64GB 64GB black variant. The design is not good, the building is made of plastic. It's not aggravated as all reviewers say. Good for this price. They provide high quality casing to hide the plastic back and it does the job. Polycarbonate has its own advantages and disadvantages. But Xiaomi provides liquid cooling technology and this only works very well. But users who only like the quality and design of the building may be a little disappointed. In my case, I was not disappointed at all. The back of the plastic polycarbonate looks good and no one pays attention to the plastic again.
Xiaomi Poco F1 has a 6.18 inch screen. It has an aspect ratio of 18: 7: 9. Yes, it has a notch, which is really big and ugly. In the case of Poco F1 because of the infrared sensor in front, the size of the notch becomes larger. The screen is IPS LCD screen and looks good.
It has gorilla glass 3 protection. So it's better to keep tempered glass and back cover protection. Overall display colors are vivid and really look good even in daytime conditions. No complaints at all on the screen.
Battery performance and life:
The main highlight of the Pocophone F1 is the superior class Snapdragon 845 processor. It's the Snapdragon 845 just like the Galaxy Note 9 and Oneplus 6. The performance is cool. This device gets a score in the ANTUTU benchmark, see the screenshot below. There are no signs of lag or even small slowness. PocoPhone F1 runs smooth butter. Coupled with 6GB RAM (basic variant) no background application is killed. This phone really has the raw power of Snapdragon 845. One more to add it has a liquid cooler even some mainstay smartphones don't have this feature. Liquid cooling works too well. I play PubG and even Asphalt 9 legends this phone doesn't sweat. Not even high temperature heating. I play PubG for almost 2-3 hours and the temperature does not exceed 37 degrees.
Poco F1 has a large 4000mAh battery and can hold 2 days for normal use. This gives me about 6-7 hours of screen on time. I play NFS without limitation and watching Netflix and other things.
Xiaomi Poco F1 Camera Performance Review:
I think the camera won't get a sign. But Xiaomi does not reduce the camera department for price cuts. It has the same sensor as MI 8, the Sony IMX 363 sensor. The rear camera is a 12 + 5 Megapixel camera that supports the same sensor as MI 8 which has a DXO 99 score. The rear camera is really shocking. I have used Honor Play, MI A2 but Poco F1 clearly won this round. You will definitely like this cellphone camera. Portrait, good Bokeh effect and exceptional edge detection. I can say the best camera you will get is under the 21K price segment. The rear camera supports EIS not having OIS but is fine. There is no shutdown that occurs during recording. But in 4K video recording, that's just a little.
Secondary selfie camera is 20MP. It's also quite surprising to me that edge detection and bokeh effects are too good. I will post more photos with both cameras immediately. In simple words, you will be far more satisfied with the camera that you get at this price range with excellent features almost.
Xiaomi Poco F1 Review Software and Other Features:
The PocoPhone F1 has official MIUI Xiaomi skin. But this time it's a little different. Xiaomi introduces a new Poco launcher that has more features and functions that distinguish it from other MIUI phones. However, based on MIUI the update will be from MIUI. Poco Launcher has more features such as applications that are categorized automatically, categorize by application, gesture control, complete display control, etc. Personally, I don't like MIUI but this launcher keeps me involved with cellphones.
Connectivity:
The Poco F1 supports Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11 like other cellphones. It supports dual VOLTE features. That is, both SIMs can run on the 4G VOLTE network simultaneously. F1 has a 4G + feature that allows it to use 800Mhz and 2300MHz bands. I use this device as my primary device and there is no cellular signal problem, call quality. There is no point complaining.
The PocoPhone F1 has dual stereo speaker settings, both technically dual speakers. But no, the main speaker is at the bottom and the other speaker is the earpiece. The sound from the earpiece is almost 20% of the total volume. So if you are looking for multiple speaker settings, you will be a little disappointed. Aside from me using Boat, JBL earphones, and amazing sound quality unlike 5Z but good. The headphone mode provided is really the best. They work very well. First I noticed only the sound was flat but after activating the headphone effect the sound quality of the earphone was really good.

The Xiaomi Poco F1 definitely collides for money devices. If you want a budget device with raw power and superior class specifications you will definitely like this device. You must somewhat compromise on quality build. But at the price point of 21K (300 $) this is the best you can get at this time. Snapdragon 845, 4000mAh battery, liquid cooling, impressive camera are the features that make Poco F1 bang for money devices. So this is Xiaomi Poco F1 review.
