Starting today, Tesla expanded its fleet of 3 model cars to 5 more stores in 4 states - almost doubling the growing display vehicle fleet for the new EV.

Two weeks ago, Tesla added 3 showcase models to two stores in California, a showroom at Century City Mall in LA and Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto.
Those are the first two models of display cars 3 and they attract a lot of people and people have to wait in long lines to see Model 3,
Last weekend, the company expanded its Model 3 fleet to the New York City showroom in Manhattan's Meatpacking district, its Boylston Street showroom in Boston, its Miami store, and two more stores in California.
A similar situation occurred on the East Coast over the first weekend with a sail car.
Now the Model 3 fleet will head to San Diego, Dallas, Washington DC, Newport Beach (island fashion mall) and Scottsdale starting at 10:00 today.
Tesla invites local Model 3 reservation holders to come see the car directly.
Automakers have previously said that they are bringing a vehicle to a new location on request (booking amount) is the highest for Model 3.

If the launch of Model 3 cars in California and the East Coast is indicative, it looks like things should be managed today if you want to go see cars during work hours, but things can go crazy over the weekend.
People reported waiting more than an hour in multiple stores over the past two weekends. Plan exactly if you want to go see the car in the new store.
As we have discussed on the latest episode of Podcast Electrek on Friday, although the backlog of 400,000 backlogs from booking the Model 3 has been impressive, it could very well just be the tip of the iceberg.
