Nokia is one of the most timely OEMs in the world today. This sticks to the promise to drop the Kernel source code for various devices. Currently, the Nokia 3 kernel source code is officially available on top of the Nokia servers. This is mostly for developers who carry a variety of custom ROMs for all popular devices from popular OEMs. Finnish OEMs previously provided the Nokia 6 Kernel Source Code followed by Nokia kernel source 8.
As many developers need it, today there is an increasing trend among certain young smartphone users who want maximum results from their devices in terms of processor and battery performance. Getting superuser access gives you the key to unlock the possibilities that Android has. Custom ROM, the kernel acts as the key here. However, developers always need the kernel source code to develop a special OS or other kernel iteration.
Previously Nokia was not really interested in making the kernel source code of its devices public. With regular demands on various official forums, Nokia completely obeys and now scans the source code. But the problem persists: the unavailability of any tool to unlock the bootloader. This you can find mentions in one of our previous posts. This slows down the process of creating custom ROM versions and other tools.
Those who are serious in development can download the Nokia 3 kernel source code from the official server. You can find the direct link below.
