How to Fix a Pending Apps / game Status Download in the Play Store
Ditulis pada: Juli 11, 2018
Play Store showing delayed downloads when you try to download apps from the Play Store? Well, this could be because of recent changes in how Play Store handles downloads OR maybe it's just because your Play Store is stuck. But do not Fret! We can fix it well.
Google recently updated the Play Store to download only one app at a time, not some apps as before. And this may be the reason you're seeing downloads waiting for messages because there may be other apps in the line waiting for downloads.
If you prefer, you can delete the download queue in the Play Store so you can download apps before all other apps are in line.
Clear Play Store download queue
- Open the Play Store app.
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and select My apps & games.
- Here you will see all the apps currently downloading on your phone. To cancel an app from downloading, select and touch X (cross icon) near the download processbar to cancel the download for the app.
└ You can do this for all apps to delete the download queue.
If the problem persists even after deleting the download queue, try to "Force stop" the Google Play Store app.
Force Stop Google Play Store app
- Go to device Settings »Apps.
- Select Google Play Store from the list of apps installed on your device.
- Tap "Force Stop".
If you are still unable to download apps, try clearing out cache and data for Play Store app itself.
Clear Play Store app data
- Go to Settings of device »Applications.
- Select Google Play Store from the list of apps installed on your device.
- └ If you can not find Google Play Store in the app list. Find the "Show system" app option under the three dot menu.
- Once in the Google Play Store app info page, select Clear Cache and Clear Data. If you're using Marshmallow or a higher version of Android, choose Storage, then clear the cache and data from there.
Reset Apps
If none of the above solutions work for you, try resetting the app. This will basically reset all your app preferences, so be sure to backup all your important apps before going for jugular.
Here's how to reset the app.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap the Apps (or Apps) menu.
- Press the 3-point menu button (at the top right possible).
- Tap on Reset app preferences.
- Confirm on the next screen by tapping the Reset button (can Reset app).
